My name is Esperanza Aguillón Sinclair.  I  received my Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Gonzaga University, and subsequently completed my Masters in Education at Portland State University.  I am of Mexican descent and a heritage speaker of Spanish; I love the language and the culture.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading Latin American literature, listening to salsa music and dancing to it as well!

I enjoy tutoring Spanish, and have been successful in helping students develop their language skills.  Recently I have been using distance learning for my tutoring services.

My tutoring fee is $60 per hour for both in person and online tutoring.  My fee includes  communicating with the student’s teacher when need be, preparing supplemental handouts, providing digital study links for extra practice with vocabulary and structures, speaking skills, and listening practice tailored to suit each student’s needs.  Students can focus on what they need: grammar and writing skills, speaking skills, or both.
